We are so excited to share with you this special interview because we are featuring our very own image model, Saira. She is not just your ordinary millennial. She’s an architect, previously a Kagawad and now happily married to her best friend, Mr. Ralph Mendoza.
So, let’s get to know Mrs. Saira Margarita Nepomuceno Mendoza.

You’ve been recently married to the love of your life. (Congratulations!) What are the
changes and how does it feel?
As I have heard many times before, life is just the same except my best friend gets to take me home every night. It’s totally worth the big jump and I’m so happy that it’s him that I get to spend the rest of my life with. My parents also gained a new son and my siblings a new brother. we just came from a trip to the US with him for our baby sister’s graduation and it was so much fun!

If you were a rose, what color would you be and why?
I would be a Malibu Pink. Not your basic red rose because we think of red when we think of roses, but also not the usual pink. Still a rose, but not your usual rose.

What makes a woman beautiful?
In a world of social media, video tutorials and being anything one aspires to be, makeup and beauty is basic. Everyone is beautiful nowadays in their own way. So what makes a woman truly beautiful is her core values, and her ability to speak her mind and be herself.

What inspires you everyday?
My work is very exciting, a new thing is learned every day. Being an architect is my true passion and I love having the power to touch lives by creating the spaces that they will live and breathe into one day.

Any secret talent?
Since I got married, I recently learned that I can cook after all! Every weekend my husband and I go to the grocery in the morning to get inspiration for the menu, and I cook lunch for him.

If you’re not an architect, what would you be?
I would probably be an events planner or stylist. Or both! I had so much fun planning my wedding, I’m always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone asking me about planning their own wedding. Maybe in the future I’ll give it a try.

What are your hobbies and other interests?
I like reading, painting in acrylic and watercolor, hiking and going to the beach.

Pink rose!

With or without make up?
With light makeup.

Flats or high heels?
Flats!

When was the best moment of your life?
It’s super cliché, but the best day of my life so far has been my wedding.

If you were to meet your future self, what would you tell her?
Just to relax, be patient and continue working hard to achieve your goals. Eyes on the prize!
