We all know her as Anna York Flowers’ Image model and a Millennial ballerina, but today, let’s get to know more about Rofel as she takes on her new journey as a dancer in Hong Kong, Disneyland.
Congratulations on being the new buzz girl in Hongkong, Disneyland! When did it happen and how does it feel?
My First Buzz Girl Show was this month, September, I was really nervous because it was my first time to perform wearing Heelys shoes, but then the training was excellent, applying what I’ve learned, I was able to enjoy and perform well.
Was it your dream to work in Disneyland?
Yes, it’s an honor to work in Disneyland, meeting talented and very enthusiastic people.
We know you as a ballerina, what are the differences now with your current work?
Well, it’s totally different specially when it comes to the genre of dance that we are performing.
What is your favorite type of dance?
Ballet, flamenco and Tap.
How’s Hongkong as your new work place?
Hongkong is one of the safest places I’ve been in, transportation is amazing and everything is very convenient.
What do you miss most about the Philippines?
I miss my family and friends the most and also some places I love going to, like the beach.
How do you see yourself in five years?
In 5 Years I look forward in exploring dance around the globe and hoping to create my own dance school.

Actually, I like any Disney Movie because of its stories. No favorite movie in particular, but I tend to watch Moana all the time.
Mulan because of her bravery and Cinderella for being kindhearted.

New dances you learned?
I learned to dance with Heelys, harness, Hawaiian dance, ribbon dance and court dance.
Best costume and why?
Court dance, because when I’m wearing it I feel very elegant and sophisticated.
Best Disney ride you’d recommend?
Space Mountain Rc Racer and Mystic Manor
Funniest thing you saw in Disney?
The characters like goofy, Donald Duck , chip and dale

Dance salsa or ballet?
