It’s graduation season everyone! Meet our newest image model, Ms. Maria Daniella F. Custodio, UST- BS Occupational Therapy graduate. A Cum laude and Best Intern (1st Runner up) too!
Let’s get to know more about her, shall we?
1.When did you know that you wanted to become an Occupational Therapist?
Honestly, it was only on my internship year that I knew that I like what I was doing, the career path I was taking and that I did want to be an Occupational Therapist.
2. What triggered you to take this course?
I LOVE KIDS ever since I was young and always knew I had to have a job that works with them. From choices like school teacher or pedia doctor, my mom brought up the course of Occupational Therapy (OT) as another option. Among all, I ended up choosing OT without really understanding what it’s all about and yet here I am now called Teacher Dang.
3. Who/What inspired you while you were studying?
Aside from the constant motivation and prayers from my family especially parents and big sister, I had that goal of graduating with flying colors as my constant push to keep going no matter how stressful school was. I always placed my goals on the wall or handouts as my reminder.
4. What do you miss most about college?
Having the same free time as my friends and classmates.
5. Any message to those who are about to enter college?
Life will not always turn out the way you plan it. You decide or get placed into a situation (most probably a school or course) which you are not 100% sure about and that’s okay! Just like my mom – never liked computers, has a career now unrelated to her course but is happily married with her classmate in college and now has 6 kids!
6. How do you see yourself five years from now?
In a relationship! Taking up or graduating from Master’s, travelling places, enjoying my bought car.
